Do you require a deposit at the time of booking?
No, but if you feel more comfortable providing one, we’d be happy to take it. We do require a credit card to secure your date which will be charged the morning of your event.
How big or how small of an event can you do?
Our awesome catering team can help you plan an event from 10 people to 10,000 people and everything in between. We are ready to help you plan!
Can we order something that is not on the menu?
Although Farm Burger knows a great burger, we are happy to have a conversation about the menu of your dreams.
How do you figure out how much staff is needed?
We take everything into account – logistics, timeline, complexity of your menu and all the little things in between. It takes a lot of hard work by many thoughtful employees to plan and execute your event from start to finish.
Do you offer bartending services?
Although we are not a bar company, we do offer bartending services and are happy to help you plan for this at your event. We cannot provide the alcohol, but will gladly pour it for you.
How big are your burgers?
We have sliders size burgers that weigh in at just under 3 ounces and our full size burgers are 1/3 of a pound of grassfed goodness. We suggest ordering two sliders or one full size burger per person over the age of 10. Kids under the age of 10 will usually just have one slider. However, you know your group better than we do, so we can always adjust portioning to what fits your needs.
Who is delivering my order?
A highly trained member of our grassfed herd will see to it that your party kicks off right. Upon arrival, our delivery driver is tasked to set up all food, beverage and paper products for your burger bar to ensure your party goes off without a hitch.
What is the food served on? Can you provide rentals?
For a simple drop-off, all food is served in recyclable aluminum pans and plastic deli containers with black plastic serving spoons and tongs. We also provide compostable plates, napkins and forks for your catering. For an upscale look, we can add on clear plastic trays, serving bowls and glass ball jars. When we have staff onsite, we provide a beautiful display of cast irons pans, white dishware and stainless steel serviceware. We can provide compostable bamboo plates and utensils or you can ask a sales team member for assistance navigating rentals.
What is included with my catering?
Your Farm Burger catering will always include farm fresh food and our friendly sales team staff. All burger and slider bars include buns, Farm Burger sauce, housemade pickles, organic ketchup, mustard and Wisconsin cheddar as well as fresh lettuce, tomato and red onion {see above for included dishware and utensils}.
Do you service the LGBTQ Communities?
You betcha! Farm Burger does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, height, weight, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations, and marital status. We love everyone.
Do you have gluten-free options? How about vegetarian?
Of course! We are proud to offer gluten-free buns and lettuce wraps as well as plenty of items that are naturally gluten-free. We also offer a fantastic veggie and/or vegan burger and a large variety of vegetarian appetizers and sides. Our sales team is well-versed in the ins and outs of dietary restrictions and would be happy to help you plan your menu accordingly.
Why do you request 48 hours notice for drop off/pick up orders?
Farm Burger works closely with our local farmers and only sources the freshest product possible. To ensure we can accommodate your catering, we like to give our chefs enough time to plan and prep. However, we always do our best to accommodate last minute orders, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
Why don’t you have a delivery driver or staff available to work my last minute order?
We always try to our best to find staff for your catering, but depending on the date, we may be booked with other caterings. Delivery drivers and staff are first come first serve. The best way to ensure we have staff available is to confirm your catering as soon as possible.
Do you charge a delivery fee?
We do not charge for delivery however each drop-off order includes a 10% service charge and a 5% supplies fee. The service charge goes directly to your driver and the supplies fee helps cover the cost of all of the containers needed to keep your food fresh and at the perfect temperature. You may have an extended delivery fee, if your delivery address is a considerable distance from your local Farm Burger.
Do you have a private dining room for special events?
Although we do not have a private dining room, we are happy to work with you to host your event at Farm Burger. Please contact our sales team to see what kind of burger magic we can create for your special event.
Do you have a food truck?
No, but that doesn’t stop us from rounding up our all-star team of chefs and servers and bring our portable kitchen to you. We are always ready to throw down at the local farmers’ market, an employee appreciation party, your child’s school and the neighborhood block party.
Can I order individual meals/box lunches?
Although we are most known for our famous burger and slider bars, we would be happy to accommodate boxed lunches. Talk to a helpful member of our sales team today.
